As a Tax & Treasury Accountant, you will have the opportunity to join a multinational business operating across a number of industries, including financial services and travel & leisure.
The role provides the unique opportunity to be heavily involved within both UK and overseas tax compliance, as well as the chance to assist the treasury team with daily cash reporting.

Responsibilities:
- Work with the Tax Manager/Senior Treasury Analyst to improve tax processes and automate where possible.
- Assist Tax Manager with drafting of provisions for UK statutory accounts including: draft tax computations, tax account summary, group relief estimates, deferred tax calculations and tax reconciliation.
- Ensure relevant information for purpose of UK tax computations is provided.
- Ensure that information is obtained and computations are finalised for submission to HM Revenue & Customs prior to the filing deadline.
- Assist Tax Manager with preparing tax model for purpose of Group consolidated accounts.
- Collect data from other group companies to assist with the Group's country-by-country filing obligations.
- Collect data from UK companies to assist Tax Manager with Group's Corporate Interest Restriction calculation.
- Provide support on Senior Accounting Officer reporting by updating processes as necessary.
- Tracking and management of overseas tax compliance.
- Assisting Senior Treasury Analyst with the preparation of the daily cash numbers and daily reporting.
- Assisting the Treasury Controller with maintenance of the treasury systems and banking administration.
- Maintaining a database of banking information.
- Ad hoc finance administration assistance as required.
Skills and qualifications required:
- Excellent computers skills including the use of Excel and Power BI
- Willingness to grow understanding of tax and treasury
- Willingness to work flexibly over teams as required
- Proactive and willing to take on new challenges
