Roles & Responsibilities

In your role as a Consultant, you will work under the guidance of mentors and experts in their respective domains and be a part of consulting delivery teams. You will actively seek to engage with senior team members and execute defined activities and build business knowledge. With increased experience, you will take ownership and deliver high quality work independently, contribute to planning and on-site delivery of engagements (pitch packs, work plans, engagement execution). You will be accountable for specific work assignments and in completing deliverables with quality and impact. 

Some elements of the role and responsibility include:
• Effectively deliver projects as guided by the project mentor (includes design & development of client enabled solutions to    
  achieve their business objectives which are reflective of best practices).
• Ability to clearly conceptualize, articulate and logically present a point of view to influence thinking and challenge status quo.
• Technical skills to solve the client problems with an understanding of KPMG’s services
• High degree of curiosity and an ability to go-beyond the current/ immediate brief with high business awareness and general  
  information of sectors/ solutions
• Develop an understanding of business challenges and partner with teams to present quality output on technical proposals
• Initiate the process for specialization in any one industrial sector or solution area to have an independent point of view on the 
  selected sector / solution that serves as the foundation for client service.
• Network to build professional relationships within and outside the firm and to actively engage in knowledge learning, sharing.
• Actively participate in relevant service line and Firm activities. Flex and work collaboratively with people in the team who 
  have a diverse range of skills, styles, and approaches and identify opportunities to increasingly contribute to the team.
• Understand the risk and regulatory environment in which KPMG operates as a firm and be cognizant of the brand and 
  adverse impact due to an individual’s action.
• Undertake professional qualification; take ownership and responsibility for self-development.

Candidate:

• Qualified ACCA Member or ACCA Affiliate
• 2-4 years post qualification experience in a multinational corporate environment, with in depth exposure to process 
  improvement and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / MS Dynamics)
• A good appreciation of F&A Process (PTP, RTR,OTC & TAX)
• Basic knowledge of Indian GAAP, IndAS and IFRS 
• Experience of preparation of financial statements and providing end to end audit support 
• Strong Analytical, research, and organizational skills, issue identification/ prioritization / resolution and report writing skills.
• Ability to execute project plans, manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads and manage project timelines
• Ability to manage clients
• Innovative and pragmatic thinking with a high degree of curiosity and an ability to go-beyond the current/immediate brief.   
• Business awareness and general information of sectors/ solutions.
• An eye for detail and ability to add value in complex analysis
• Business writing and presentation skills both verbal and written that help promote clarity and present persuasive options.
