The Employment Tax team specialises in advising clients on UK PAYE, NIC and International Social Security related issues thereby assisting clients in terms of compliance with relevant legislation and in the design of policies which deliver benefits for the employee and manage the cost to the employer.

As part of the Employment Tax team you will have the opportunity to work on a wide client portfolio and have exposure to numerous technical issues through both advisory and compliance projects.

Your key responsibilities:

• Working on due diligence projects in conjunction with the transaction taxes team
• Working on global mobility issues; including personal tax returns, tax equalisation calculations, dealing with assignees, advising on tax residence
• Assisting with employee share plan projects
• P11D completion/PSA assistance
• Advising on things such as salary sacrifice, termination payments, employment status etc.

Skills and attributes for success:

• Ideally CTA qualified or studying towards it
• Employment tax background would be advantageous but would open to considering other Tax experience e.g. Personal Tax etc.
• Resilience and proactive attitude to work are key skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
