The candidate will be responsible for the financial models of the company in regards to project investment decisions. They will develop, analyse, evaluate and recommend different finance options based on needs.

Description
- Developing and maintaining financial models with the purpose of supporting project investment decisions.
- Maintaining the accuracy and correctness of relevant inputs to the models and propose and implement relevant sensitivity analysis for investment files.
- Developing, analysing, evaluating and recommending financial options and proposals related to relevant business development projects or other needs related to funding.
- Advising internal stakeholders to understand appropriate risk allocation, bankability of terms and conditions of different project contracts and provide general structuring advice and optimising returns during the business development process.
- Assist business development decision-making process and take place as the focal and single point of contact for the investment business case, centralising accounting, tax, treasury and corporate finance.
- Support the negotiation, structuring, and execution of financing documents for medium to large size transactions while ensuring that best project finance practises are adhered to.
- Prepare presentations for management and lenders updates/discussions and negotiate key financial terms of the transaction documents.
- Identify main project risks in terms of economics and financials and be an advisor on the appropriate mitigation factors and define appropriate contingencies.
- Manage multiple parties including consultants, banks, lawyers as well as key internal stakeholders to bring transactions to close.
Profile
- Qualified with at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Economics.
- Professional experience of at least 3 years in the position of M&A and project financing at an investment bank, private equity fund or a strategic energy company. Broad experience in retail, energy, renewables would be preferred.
- Knowledge in wind and solar projects.
- Experienced in developing Excel Based models.
