LNP Audit and Assurance is a dynamic fast growing Chartered firm and one of the largest specialist audit firms in Australia.

This is a full-time opportunity to join our Sydney office and will provide a foot in the door to an exciting career in audit. In this role you will be experienced in leading and supervising audit engagements from planning to completion and reporting. As an Audit Manager you will have experience in the supervision of staff members and building strong relationships with the client. This is a challenging role which will enable you to gain a wide range of assurance exposure including:
  • The management and delivery of high-quality end-to-end audits for various clients both private and listed as well as AFSL and FMA and PCAOB registered companies for clients in Australia, NZ, Asia Pacific and globally
  • Provide guidance and supervision at an engagement level to team members and ensure audit procedures are followed in accordance with the Firm's audit methodology
  • Collaborate to plan objectives and devise an audit strategy plan that appropriately identifies and addresses the audit risks, and resolve complex audit issues that arise
  • Client relationship management of allocated clients, including service delivery, time management, invoicing and debtor management.
  • Ongoing professional development including technical training and other relevant skill requirements.
  • Business development activities in relation to existing clients as well as involvement in potential new opportunities.
  • Mentor junior staff and assist in their professional development.
Skills and experience:
  • Bachelor degree in accounting
  • CA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years' recent experience in audit & assurance
  • Experience in relation to external audits of Financial Services entities
  • Experience in relation to AFSL, GS007 and FMA entity audits
  • A strong technical knowledge of accounting concepts and related disclosures required under AASB/IFRS, Australian Auditing Standards, ASX and NSX Listing Rules and the Corporations Act
  • Good project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities at one time and deliver engagements in a timely manner and within budget
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Caseware and excel
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
