Salary: £60-65k + Benefits, 20% bonus and hybrid working with the flexibility to WFH

We're very exciting to be recruiting for a Commercial Finance Manager join a highly innovative, entrepreneurially led, high growth FMCG business based in Leeds Centre that are making a real name for themselves in the UK and International markets!

The business have a very impressive story to tell so far, are undergoing an exciting period of digital transformation, and continue to grow organically, through further geographical expansion and diversification of product range, with significant investment continually coming through as well... They certainly show no sign of slowing down!

The Role

As Commercial Finance Manager you'd be reporting directly into the MD of this aggressively growing FMCG business, and form a pivotal member of the management team influencing the strategy, direction and growth of this now well known brand.

This is an extremely diverse, varied opportunity, giving you oversight of the whole business and working closely with all Stakeholders, supporting Sales, Operations, Marketing and Finance. You'd play an integral role in supporting the MD and leadership team with their roadmap to grow market share, diversify product range and new product development, and further geographical expansion.
Given the diversity of the role, duties could include but are certainly not limited to:

• Reporting into the MD, supporting him and the senior leadership team with their strategic plans to further drive revenue, grow market share, expand further geographically and increase new product development.
• Line management of a small team of Analysts to support you with providing the business with information, insights and analysis to affect decision making.
• Utilising and interpreting data available to identify business trends, and build cases for potential investors, partnerships, new potential customers, new sites etc.
• Identify performance drivers, market opportunities and customer behaviours
• Introduce dashboards and better reporting to drive efficiency and effectiveness to aid business decisions across the UK and Globally.
• Work cross functionally with all Stakeholders of the business, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Ops to hep further drive growth and enhance performance.
• Provide commercial support on new business ventures, ideas and potential deals, bids and tenders.
• Drive margin improvements where applicable.
• Maximise the commercial return of current contracts and customers by undertaking contract reviews and negotiations.

Your Profile
The ideal person for this role will be a commercially focused leader, driven, passionate about driving growth and adding value, and able to work in a very fast paced ever changing environment.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally:

• Have demonstrable experience of adding value to a business, provide insight and analysis to shape strategy and aid decision making
• Have an appetite to further enhance a fast growing entrepreneurially run business
• Be confident liaising with Senior Stakeholders and challenging the status quo to provide value add recommendations
• Have experience working closely with Sales, marketing, finance and wider teams.
• Advanced excel skills (models, dashboards etc)
• Be self motivated, driven and able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• A background in FMCG/Manufacturing would be highly advantageous but not essential.
