Business Finance Manager, New Business

Responsibilities

• Drive and participate in systems implementation for new business entities.

• Assist to carve out historical financial information and prepare proforma financials relevant to the new business entities.
• Responsible for monthly closing activities and legal entities statutory reporting and audit.
• Provide insightful financial analysis and advice to support decision making, strategy development and drive overall product performance.
• Partner with business leadership team to drive forecast and budget exercises.
• Monitor and report performance in terms of revenue, expenses, capex and key value drivers.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to review business cases and develop financial models to assess the feasibility of capex and business proposals including using measures like NPV, IRR and Return on Invested Capital.
• Have strong understanding of the accounting standards like IFRS16 and able to apply these in the review of accounting transactions.
• Perform any other duties and projects as assigned by Finance Director and CFO.

Requirements

• CPA with good Degree in Accountancy or ACCA.
• 6-8 years of working experience in a similar capacity, with strong business acumen.
• Passionate about business financial management, possesses positive attitude and drive.
• High proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Office especially Excel.
• Familiarity with SAP and Business Warehouse will be advantageous.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Good EQ, strong interpersonal and people management skills.
