Join our fast-growing Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) team as a Senior Manager within our EMEIA Tax Center. The role will give you the opportunity to work on EY's largest multi-country client engagements in a tax accounting and direct tax capacity.
Your key responsibilities
- Act as central point of contact - liaise with your international clients and colleagues with respect to European direct tax
- Leading clients on established accounts, seeking process improvement opportunity in both EY and Client processes and implementing services for new client
- Managing account resourcing, budget and delivery
- Leading pursuits
- Developing and coaching the team
What you can contribute - skills for shaping the future
- University degree and work experience in International Business, Economics, Tax or Technology
- Experience in test conception, design and implementation, Azure Devops, ticketing systems (like Jira), triaging tickets / issues, debugging issues and resolution with development teams
What makes you stand out - attributes of your success
- US GAAP and / or IFRS tax accounting technical skillset
- Experience of corporate income tax compliance processes including return preparation and payments
What we are offering - an inspiring work environment
- Understanding of broader direct tax processes operated by clients including balance sheet reconciliation of tax accounts and payment initiation processes
- Strong process mindset and experience in designing or standardising processes
- Senior experience building and leading delivery teams of 5+ individuals
