The Role

We have built strong techno-functional teams which partner with our offices globally taking global ownership of systems and products. We have a vibrant and diverse mix of teams working on different technologies and functional areas. We are looking for a 7+ years experienced Project Manager / Business Analyst to manage project delivery between Finance, Operations, Reference Data and the technology teams during all phases of the program management life cycle. The candidate needs to be able to work with geographically dispersed groups across IT and Finance in a very dynamic, rapidly evolving and high pressure, high visibility project setting. The candidate is expected to take ownership and day-to-day management of regular application releases as well as manage a team of 3-4 business analyst & testers to achieve this.

Qualifications

The candidate should be able to demonstrate the following key skills & competencies:

  • Experience in Finance/Accounting/Regulatory - A good understanding of the finance function and processes of a financial service organization, examples: General Ledger, accounting/finance processes, US GAAP/IFRS, regulatory reporting.
  • Experience in range of financial products (Fixed Income, Equity, Derivatives, Loans)
  • Familiar with APAC regulatory regulations including but not limited to HKMA, MAS, APRA, SGX
  • Communication of project status, risk to senior management
  • Strong people management/ co-ordination/ organization skills, both with respect to managing a team of Business Analysts and testers, and coordinating across the various teams involved in project delivery (IT, end users, other stakeholders)
  • Self-starter who is creative with a ?can-do? attitude, strong work ethic and an agile mindset
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills are required to perform data quality gap analysis, root cause issue analysis, and data reconciliations.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel, ability to analyze large datasets
  • Experience of working in Agile delivery desirable
  • Knowledge of tools - JIRA, Rally, Alteryx desirable
  • Knowledge of Business Process Mapping tools like Visio
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
