Personal Tax Senior / Semi-Senior

We are looking to recruit an ambitious Personal Tax Senior or Semi-Senior to join our expanding West Midlands tax team.

This role will suit someone who is looking to quickly progress their tax career within a varied and challenging role. You be working with and advising a range of interesting clients including high net worth individuals, private clients, business owners and directors.

You will work closely with senior members of the tax team, have access to our training and mentoring programmes and can take part in our CSR and Business Development activities, all advancing your overall career progression.

The Role

Day to day responsibilities will include personal tax compliance completion and reviews for a range of individuals, partnerships, trusts and estates, as well as supporting Partners and Managers on the delivery of tax advisory and planning projects such as:

  • Remuneration planning for company directors and shareholders including advising on benefits in kind
  • Capital tax planning
  • Property tax projects
  • Inheritance tax reviews and reports
  • Wealth Management advice

There is scope to shape this role to the experience and motivations of the appointed candidate.

What we are looking for

 To be considered for the role, you will have: 

  • The ATT or AAT qualification (or equivalent). Being ACA/ACCA or CTA part qualified would be advantageous
  • Tax compliance experience gained from within a mixed tax and/or personal tax environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport with people at various levels
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure
