Job Title: Function: Accounting & Reporting Department: CoE Operations Vacancy type: Permanent Location: Bangalore & Chennai 

Your responsibilities as a core member of our Accounting & Reporting team will be incredibly diverse, including working with complex international clients and securitization structures and supporting our clients and team members  achieve positive results. Your responsibilities As  a member of the accounting team you play a critical role in the success of our business. You will be responsible for a wide range of projects, including:
• Reviewing and preparation of financial statements including Consolidation if required
•Reviewing and preparation of annual statutory financial reports as well as monthly and quarterly financial report for clients
•Management of Bank accounts  including preparation and review of payment documents
•Executive support services to clients in assisting them in preparing their management accounts
•Assistance with financial audit and internal control
•VAT registration and administration
•Assistance with Acquisition escrow
•Support in Payroll administration services
•Reviewing and keeping control of the timing of various client deliverables according to the operating memorandum/SLA
•Working closely with finance and legal colleagues as well as with external parties such as accountants, law firms and tax advisors
•Reviewing handling and monitor all payments
•Proactively handling various client queries in a timely and professional manner
•Coaching, teaching, guiding junior team members
•May involves limited Client Interaction 

Your profile We are looking for individuals who:
•Qualified ACCA (Affiliates/Members) or equivalent with modules covering IFRS/ consolidation/ other GAAP
•Practical experience of IFRS, consolidation or GAAP conversion (as service provider or auditor)
•0 to 12 years of work experience
•Fluent in English, any additional language is an asset (German, Spanish, French, Portuguese)
•Practical experience in using a consolidation software is a plus
•Appetite for learning and working complex accounting demanded by consolidations and IFRS reporting and disclosures.
•Possess a strong concept of book-keeping and accounting standards (IFRS)
•Have ideally knowledge on XBRL
•To lead and manage people so that they are engaged and motivated to perform repetitive tasks •Conduct performance appraisals
 •Develop people and extend support to create individual development plans •Be the first point of escalation for the service/ processing issues  
•Review team and direct reports’ performance; conduct performance appraisals 
•Gai n a solid understanding of process flow charts and CoE activities 
•Lead the review of work instructions/ SOPs 
•participate and contribute to operational meetings with business colleagues, including, but not limited to KPI performance 
•Will carry a responsibility to initiate and orchestrate process improvements •Be the first point of escalation for the service/ processing issues  
•Are good team players, independent, meticulous, pro-active, attentive to details, s elf-motivated and able to adapt in new challenges and with excellent communication skills
•Book-keeping & preparation/ review of financial statements
•Preparation & review of management accounts
•Assistance with financial audit & internal control
•Respond to audit and auditor requirements
•Consolidation of financial statements
•Excel /MS Office is a required skill
•Process Management Skills
•Coach & support associates
