About the Position

APAC Payments Product team is responsible for product P&L and commercialization of High & Low Value Payments, Billing and Investment management across Asia Pacific countries. Key payments product partner in solutioning client RFPs and client opportunities to increase product utilization, manage investment demand, resourcing and prioritization, develop and deliver new and enhanced regional products and services, with sound scalable solution. The team is also responsible to support in defining regional strategy and drive the regional product roadmap with global and country product managers. This includes being in line with sales and service strategy, challenge the limits and boundaries of technology and operations and ensuring products and solutions delivered adhere to legal, compliance and risk partners guidelines.

  • Product project management on ISO 20022 program - this includes managing the regional program governance, working alongside key stakeholders on critical path, challenges and plans forward to execute and deliver the program
  • Support WP regional and country product managers in all relevant RTGS and SWIFT CBPR+ clearing migration - this includes ensuring global and regional consistency in product end to end build, client experience, managing risk and control, while adhering to the clearing rulebook and SWIFT standards
  • Assist team in Billing & Pricing product management tools - this includes engagement with vendor/tech, enhancing and maintenance of existing pricing tools, reduction of revenue leakage and identifying opportunities
  • Manage the development of APAC High Value payment products by coordinating with regional and global partners
  • Review current offerings with Sales/Bankers to identify opportunities refinement and/or develop innovative new solutions for our target client segments
  • Responsible for P&L and performance of regional payments products
  • Ensure all new and existing products are in compliance with regulations and the firm's controls standards
  • Manage an individual product portfolio and drive process & product consistency across the APAC region
  • Engage extensively with Operations, Client Service and Bankers to provide clients with best in class products and competitive advantage

This role is intended to be for an initial term of approximately 9 months only, however, subject to business needs, the contract may be extended or converted to permanent employment.

  • Bachelor's degree of equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in cash management, with a preference for experience in payment products/solutions.
  • Good knowledge of payments products with a comfortable grasp of technology and operations .
  • Good understanding and appreciation of competitive landscapes and on-going developments.
  • Have a good understanding of risk attributes of payments product
  • Strong in project management with a proven track record of managing and delivering projects .
  • Good understanding of client banking channels, SWIFT and local clearing systems within Asia, banks' back-office systems and information reporting tools.
  • Energetic self-starter with ability to multi-task and interface with different stakeholders to deliver products objectives.
  • Strong influencer with excellent communication skills and a mature, self-motivated team player
