Marks Sattin is partnering a leading financial services business who is recruiting for a Regulatory Compliance Manager to support over a 12 month period.
Working for the Head of the function, you will have a great opportunity to gain exposure to a wide variety of legal & compliance projects. You will be responsible for leading the function on a day to day basis, ensuring compliance with the businesses, regulatory requirements, mostly with FCA and ICO.
Responsibilities of the role:
You will have a strong background in compliance and procedures for FCA regulated businesses and GDPR. You will have demonstrated in previous roles that you are proactive in managing risks in a regulated business. You will have previous experience of maintaining, developing and enhancing frameworks for the likes of the Senior Managers Regime, Certification Regime and Conduct Rules.

Responsibilities of the role:
- Lead the team responsible for compliance assurance including monitoring the retail teams regulatory compliance
- Obtain and assess the impact of proposed regulatory changes published by the relevant regulators to ensure regulatory and legislative requirements are identified, communicated and addressed as appropriate.
- Update legal and regulatory on an ongoing basis and present to the monthly Regulatory Compliance Committees (Conduct & Risk) & (Governance Committee).
- Assist in the identification of Compliance Risks to which the business is exposed, and help maintain and update the Compliance Risk Register.
- Communicate and raise awareness of Compliance to business units to cultivate a compliance culture and understanding of issues imperative to compliance
