The Finance & Operations Team (F&O) provides a wide range of services with an aim to standardise and improve the way we do business in Assurance. Team members within F&O work alongside leadership to operationalise a number of strategic initiatives and influence key decision makers to drive successful business outcomes.

As a Managerin our Finance Assurance team, you'll deliver impact by:

Financial reporting & Analysis
  • Provide relevant & timely information as required to respective stakeholders
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems.
  • Use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights for decision makers
  • Perform monthly reporting
  • Cost control & analysis


Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Annual budgeting and forecasting process for all the operating units under Assurance Transformation
  • Collaborate with Human Resources & Smart Delivery teams to understand supply and demand and ensure adequate resourcing


Month end results & Reporting
  • Complete pre & post month end journals
  • Review general ledger accounts to ensure costs charged appropriately
  • Review payroll summaries to ensure headcount & costs charged to correct operating units
  • Present results to the stakeholders for review & discussion


Service Delivery Centre Operations Team
  • Reporting of Assurance Acceleration Centre (offshore team) results to Firm Finance & assist in completing the annual review of take or pay agreements, costs incurred & results reported
  • Australian Finance contact for AC Kolkata & AC Manila
  • Review & sign off of monthly consumption statements received from each centre
  • Monitoring & reporting of actual hours vs. take or pay agreements
  • Central PwC finance contact for AC Manila hours monthly across four Lines of Service
  • Review of costs associated with AC secondment program & AC Manila Team Ambassador program


About you

  • You have 5 to 6 years experience in a finance role, preferably in the professional services industry.
  • You have completed or are currently completing CA or CPA.
  • You have exceptional modelling and data analytics skills (Excel, Alteryx and Power BI highly valued).
  • Commercial awareness and a desire to influence strategic decision making.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and relationship management skills.
  • Strong people skills with the ability to coach and adapt to different working styles.
  • Strong project manager who is deadline driven and can handle competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Most importantly, you act with integrity and show care for the people you work with.
