Audit Team Administrator

We are looking for an enthusiastic administrator to join our Bristol-based Audit and Assurance team.

This is a fast-paced and varied administration role that will suit someone who has previously worked within a professional services environment.

Our Bristol audit team is expanding and we now require someone to support our team of auditors with their admin requirements.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to contribute to the success of an ambitious business that is renowned for being a fantastic employer.

The Role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Administering client engagement, maintenance, and disengagement procedures, ensuring relevant forms are completed, letters are issued, and systems are kept up to date
  • Liaising with our tax teams and other service lines to ensure all work is properly scheduled and delivered on time
  • Supporting client managers and partners with the management of costs on client assignments and timely billing
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with risk management procedures with new client setup processes, including the completion of anti-money laundering checks
  • Assisting with coordination of staff planner and resourcing, including oversight of apprentice holiday requests
  • Assisting with travel and accommodation arrangements
  • Assisting managers with coordination of apprenticeship training administration
  • Arranging timely submission of financial statements and other documents with relevant regulatory bodies and assisting with the maintenance of a register of filing deadlines and submissions
  • Assisting with preparation of Powerpoint presentations and other Word and Excel documents to support the audit managers and partners

What we are looking for

To be considered for the role, you will need to have:

  • Strong administration skills gained from within a professional services environment – it would be highly desirable for applicants to have previously worked within an accountancy sector, but this isn’t essential
  • Strong IT skills – good MS Word and MS Excel skills are essential
  • A well organised approach to work with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A pro-active approach to work

Please contact Ben Carter; Resourcing Manager if you would like to discuss this opportunity further.

We welcome applicants who would like flexibility in their working arrangements, including working from home or part-time working, which may help to accommodate parent or carer responsibilities, further studies, and activities outside of work.

We are committed to welcoming new people into an inclusive working environment, where everyone is given equal opportunity to reach their full potential.  We support a culture where people are valued and treated fairly with respect and differences are understood and celebrated.

The more varied our workforce, the broader the expertise within our business. The broader our expertise, the greater our chances of innovation and success. That's why we're committed to equality of opportunity, diversity, and inclusion at every level.
