Description

In this varied role you'll be producing high quality management accounts and financial statements under UK GAAP / IFRS. You'll also be supporting junior staff members and assisting with business planning and client related budgets.

Responsibilities will include:

• Completion of monthly management accounts for a portfolio of clients
• Preparation of financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP/IFRS/FRS 102, liaising with clients & auditors as required
• Assist in the preparation of relevant tax filings such as VAT returns, corporation tax returns, P11ds and PSA
• Working with clients on ad-hoc projects such as changing functional currencies at year end or changing from UK GAAP to IFRS and summarising the key differences
• Supervising junior staff in respect of accounting deliverables
• Overseeing completion of payment runs for clients

Profile

We are looking for a qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) accountant with experience in delivering management accounts and financial statements on behalf of clients.

Candidates will require strong technical knowledge of IFRS / UKGAAP, with experience of preparing financial statements and a good understanding of aspects such as disclosures and VAT.
