What will you do?

• Ensuring the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of monthly close activities
• Reviewing general ledger activity, researching and correcting account discrepancies
• Performing balance sheet account reconciliations, including general ledger accounts and sub ledger accounts
• Reviewing balance sheet account reconciliations prepared by junior members of the team
• Preparation of Statutory Accounts
• Ensuring compliance with Corporate Accounting policies, procedures and controls (Sarbanes-Oxley Act)
• Performing variance analysis including current-to-prior month/quarter/year
• Supporting Manager in day to day running of team by mentoring and supporting team members where required

Who we are looking for:

• Qualified Accountant (CA, CIMA or ACCA)
• Experience working in a large corporate environment
• Highly motivated and detail oriented individual with excellent communication, computer and organisational skills
• Ability to prioritise and follow through in a fast-paced, multitask environment
• Strong business partnering and confidence to challenge at all levels
