My clients is a large public sector organisation undergoing a huge transformation plan including the creation of new finance teams. As an organisation they will offer you the platform develop and enhance your career prospects, with the aim to support your drive and commitment to progress and build on your existing experience. The diverse services that they support and the progression of their transformation programme, brings with it exposure to many scenarios requiring financial support and advice. You can therefore expect opportunities to get involved and strengthen both your accountancy knowledge and your broader skill sets, enabling you to adapt to an ever changing business environment and support the many challenges public sector organisations face.

Description

• Provide a business partnering service for particular departments across the organisation
• Provision of support for the organisations financial planning processes including budget setting, FPA, grant claims,
• Develop businesses cases in support of business objectives
• Identify and reduce cost pressures
• Ensure financial control and governance is in place

Profile

As a Finance Business Partner you should be -

• Qualified Accountant
• Demonstrate experience of providing excellent business partnering and customer services.
• Excellent IT skills
• Good communication skills
• Enthusiastic and pragmatic with a can do attitude
• Experience of local government finance would be an advantage, it is not essential.
