Finance and Contracts Manager
Michael Page are recruiting for an Interim Finance and Contracts Manager to join a Public Sector organisation based in Central Leeds for 4-6 months
The client is a well known and very well respected Public Sector organisation who are based in Central Leeds. They have been involved in valuable work during the pandemic and offer a range of career opportunities including the potential for permanent opportunities. They offer a hybrid working week with 1-2 days in the office and the rest from home.
As the Interim Finance and Contracts Manager, duties will include but are not limited to, working on finance and contracting policies, leading on finance issues, advising senior managers and stakeholders on finance related queries, implementing and updating existing finance and contract policy, formulate and implement finance systems for recording and monitoring programmes, reviewing and evaluating finances, work with key contracts, deal with queries and other ad hoc duties.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a Fully Qualified Accountant ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA/ CIPFA ESSENTIAL
- Be able to start immediately or have no more than a 2 week notice period ESSENTIAL
- Have worked with contracts previously DESIRABLE
- Be able to build and maintain effective relationships ESSENTIAL
£40,000- £46,000 equivalent on a daily rate basis + immediate start + Interim Finance and Contracts Manager + Central Leeds + Hybrid working + weekly pay + PAYE/Umbrella
