An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading property business in Cheadle due to continued expansion. This company have an excellent reputation in their marketplace and are going through an exiting period of growth making it a good time to join them.

Description

The Accounts Assistant role is a temporary role initially and will be 100% office based in Cheadle. You will have the opportunity to look after:

• Organising and checking purchase invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Processing purchase invoices via Sage 50
• Creating supplier payment runs for Sage 50
• Supplier statement reconciliations on a monthly basis to minimise overdue or outstanding invoice payments.
• Completion of new supplier credit account forms.
• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, setting up new supplier accounts whilst managing existing account details within the purchase ledger.
• Processing of weekly timesheets to agreed wage rates, to produce a payment spreadsheet fully agreed and reconciled for submission to the payment company. This is a time critical task to ensure the workers are paid on time each Friday.
• Management of employee induction paperwork.
• Establish and maintain strong relationship with project managers to ensure the timesheets are sent through on a timely and accurate basis.
• Management of company fuel cards to ensure correct credit limits are in place and monitoring of vehicle expenditure.
• Vehicle tracking reporting.

Profile

In order to apply for the role you should;

Have previous experience in Purchase Ledger

Be available for an immediate start temporary role

Be able to commute to Cheadle office
