Your Role

As a Business Analyst, you'll be involved in supporting a delivery or series of deliveries by taking ownership and responsibility for understanding the business capabilities, it's people (both their overt requirements and covert needs), the processes, systems and organisational structure as well as working to identify and realise the value delivered by any change. You'll have an appreciation of continual improvement and a commitment to ensuring business continuity.

Your Role

Some of what you'll be doing:
- Gathering data and facts to document the current state of a given business problem and supporting with the recommendation and prioritisation of decisions made to inform the Change Delivery road map
- Delivering quality analysis and design documentation; formulating, refining and baselining business requirements with thorough acceptance criteria to ensure the end product is fit for purpose
- Leading requirement workshops, eliciting, documenting and validating the requirements ensuring that all aspects of the problem domain are within scope, complete, and deliverable
- Proactively communicating and collaborating with Stakeholders (internal and external) to analyse information needs and requirements
- Transposing requirements into new or existing business processes using the Business Process Mapping & Notation (BPMN)
- Understanding and articulating the costs and benefits of a change; working with finance to gather the required insights to model the impact to the business Profit & Loss.
- Engaging, monitoring and ensuring traceability of solutions against the baseline requirements to ensure benefits are realised, highlighting when this is not the case and influencing alternative approaches to meet the desired business outcomes
- Supporting with gathering information that will inform the business readiness and impact assessments
- Contributing to the content of guidance material that will support the effective delivery of the change
- Acting as the point of contact when a solution goes live; answering questions, managing issues and problem solving
- Tracking the performance of lead indicators that point to the financial outcomes. Work with the business to make the value visible. Identify and problem solve any issue until the sustained benefits are achieved, reporting progress to EPMO
What we'll need from you:
- Experience working within a delivery / project background with strong planning and organisation skills, including the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience of analysing business processes to identify solutions and recommend new approaches
- Ideally, holder of Green Belt or BCS Diploma
- Ideally, knowledge of Waterfall/Agile methodologies
