We are currently looking for a highly analytical and forward-thinking Finance Manager to join our Marketplace team in London.
Position Description
Reporting into the Director Finance Marketplace Europe your focus is on driving growth and profit of our Marketplace business in UK but you will work as well on pan EU projects. The role requires close collaboration with the UK business team and with multiple other business and finance teams in Europe and the US.
Responsibilities
• Tell the story of Amazon Marketplace in UK from a finance perspective
• Provide trend and gap analysis versus plan
• Define, maintain and develop performance metrics and generate actionable insights
• Assess business cases, perform ROI analysis and drive cost saving initiatives (for pan EU projects)
• Manage one financial analyst
Basic Qualifications:
• Master degree in finance, business or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial planning, reporting and analysis
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to earn trust quickly
• Business acumen and backbone to partner well with the business
• Strong communicator and writing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA
• Experience as a people manager
• Experience with Cognos and SQL
• Experience in Retail, FMCG, e.commerce
