Financial Accountant

Our Bedford based client who is well established in the property and housing market is looking for aspiring Financial Accountant to compliment their already excellent finance team. This role is available for the successful Financial Accountant due to considerable growth made by the Client over recent years.

Description

The Successful Financial Accountant will be responsible for:

• Preparation and examination of financial records
• Compliance with accounting, legal and tax records
• Looking for inaccuracies and potential improvements
• Streamlining processes
• Attending meetings internally and externally with customers
• Owning the Management Accounts
• Financial reporting as necessary
• Supporting key projects
• Comply with data protection laws

Profile

The successful Financial Accountant will:

• Studying toward their ACCA qualification
• Have Practice experience (desired)
• Be extremely organised and able to multi-task while still meeting key deadlines
• Be a team player who works enjoys working toward team goals
• Have experience owning the Management Accounts process
• Have an eye for detail and is able to spot anomalies
• Be confident in their own ability to improve processes
• Be a keen learner and someone who is always looking to improved their own finance knowledge
• Be comfortable working on projects individually and as part of a team
