The Australian National University, one of the World's leading research universities, has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, customer serviced focused finance professional to work within the University's Finance and Business Services Division (F&BS). F&BS supports the University's strategic and operational goals through the provision of professional corporate financial management and administration, reporting and effective business services.
Position overview
This position is a member of the Corporate Finance and Reporting team within the F&BS.
This position collaborates with and provide high quality, accurate and timely financial reporting to external funding bodies in respect of grants received by the University. The accountant also provides robust advice and assistance on research related finance policies, procedures and initiatives and provide support to ensure compliance with regulations. This position will work with the other members of the Research Financial Advisory team and with finance and research services professionals across the broader University community.
Your relevant tertiary qualifications (CA, CPA) and experience in research financial reporting, applying contemporary financial management practices and analytical and problem solving skills will be complimented by excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
F&BS is focused on providing the best quality support to the ANU. A Merit pool of applicants will be kept for future recruitment needs.
