Interim Stat Accountant

This is an opportunity for an immediate start within the EMEA team of a multi-national organisation. This role offers exposure to multiple countries within EMEA, and offers the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate!

Client Details

My client is a US based multi-national organisation based in Reading. They are a market leader within their field, and are looking for a candidate to drive reporting standards within the team.

Description

The key responsibilities of the role are:

• Work alongside in country providers across EMEA to produce local Statutory Accounts
• Complete statutory accounts review, and monitoring permanent and temporary statutory adjustments
• To work closely with the GL team on audit queries and maintaining audit documentation
• Working closely with the external audit teams to ensure the delivery of the statutory audit within deadlines
• Liaising with auditors and in country providers for the preparation, audit, signing and submission of statutory accounts
• Any other ad hoc work or projects

Profile

The successful candidate will be;

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• Immediately available
• Have knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
• Have relevant exposure to statutory reporting
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver results to short timescales
• A motivated and driven individual
