Working directly with the Head of Digital Accounting to assist clients in transitioning to digital accounting solutions. You will be responsible for carrying out Xero conversions as well as delivering training and education to clients and internal stakeholders on the use of Xero and related software.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and expertise on Xero functionality
  • Be fully involved in all projects included in the firm’s Cloud Consultancy Services
  • Ability to liaise with clients – for example: arrange Xero demonstrations, meetings and answering client queries
  • An awareness of all ongoing projects and a willingness to get involved in complex Xero conversions
  • Ability to lead meetings with clients
  • Build and maintains strong relationships
  • Perform any other reasonable tasks as requested by the Partners and Head of Digital Accounting
  • Liaise and collaborate with colleagues internally to broaden and strengthen their knowledge in Digital Accounting
  • Deliver internal training and education sessions

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Use of Xero accounting Software is essential
  • Experience converting clients accounting systems to Xero is essential
  • Xero Certified Advisor
  • Experience of using Dext Prepare (formerly Receipt Bank), Dext Precision and Chaser is desirable
  • An understanding of the Apps available in the Xero App Marketplace
  • Experience of working in practice is desirable
  • An understanding of cloud accounting and initiatives such as Making Tax Digital
  • Excellent IT skills are essential - particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Part Qualified CA / ACCA / ACA or looking to begin studies
