Software Quality Assurance Engineer works for Japan business application UAT testing.

What you will be responsible for
This position will be responsible for executing the BUAT testing as part of an initiative to develop new file formats for a strategically important Japanese client as an immediate assignment. Testing will include cases based on real operations scenarios as well as regression testing to ensure no impact to existing functionality.
From long term perspective, besides BUAT test driven by project, the other responsibilities will include:
Plan test strategy and schedule together with IT team Working closely with the development team on explaining any issues found to be quickly resolved (with re-testing to confirm resolution of those defects) Providing daily test status updates to the onsite manager and the Japan project team. Maintain the test scenarios/cases in sync with operation processes.
The data will contain Japanese characters; however, it is not necessary to understand Japanese.

- English language required
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in or higher in computer science or finance or related field is preferred
- Good English writing skills, CET6 is preferred
