Client Details

We are partnered with one of the largest medical device brand in the world. They are a Fortune 500 Company, listed with the New York Stock Exchange. Shanghai is their China headquarter and their business scope covers multiple highly successful BUs. The China Tax Manager has taken maternity leave and we are looking for a candidate who is available in February or March to take on a 6month assignment.

Description

Reporting to the China Tax Director and working with a specialist finance team based in Shanghai, you will predominantly be responsible for:

• Tax Compliance: quarterly and yearly US tax filing, reporting & review

• Tax Consulting: Supporting HQ in major tax project planning and tax audits

• Tax Training for the wider Controlling team

Profile

Working with a highly capable team, we are looking for a proactive candidate with strong technical skills. You will bring the following skills and experience to the table:

• 5+ years tax experience in Big 4 or major MNC corporates would be ideal but not essential

• CPA/CTA qualifications would be ideal but not a must

• Proactive, autonomous approach

• Strong communication skills
• Good command of Microsoft Office and ERP system
