About the Finance Analytics Specialist Role:
You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement within the SSC, improving productivity, process efficiency and excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on raw data from multiple data sources and able to synthesise and perform meaningful analytics to detect anomalies/outliners
- Collaborate with business process owners to produce financial analytics and reporting (using Tableau/Power BI and Excel) to reduce revenue and cost leakage for the group
- Root cause analysis and identify core issues/process gaps using data including recommend improvements that guide the organisation to improve profitability and internal controls
- Support preparation of process documentation and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in accordance to Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirement and group policies
- Prepare monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboard according to SLA to evaluate the SSC’s performance
- Collaborate with finance function leads within the SSC and other global stakeholders to identify process improvements or standardisation that optimise efficiency and improve quality
- Participate in CI projects which meet business needs and compliance requirement to eliminate unnecessary complexity within business processes for delivery of greater value and efficiency
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of three years' relevant working experience in finance data analysis and/or business process management in a MNC setting.
- Relevant working experience as Internal Auditor in MNC or auditor from mid-tier/Big 4 audit firm are also welcome
- Strong data analytical skillset with experience in tools such as Tableau/Power BI and advanced Excel knowledge. SAP knowledge is preferred
- Experienced in developing and implementing process improvement to streamline/reduce redundancies and drive standardisation
