Page Personnel are working with a successful business to recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant to join a growing accountancy function based in Liverpool.

Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will be:
- Assisting the production of monthly accounts, including analysis of the P&L looking at cost of sales, cost of production, spend and overheads
- Assisting in the reconciliation of the balance sheet and other nominal / ledger reconciliations
- Support in the preparation of annual budgets with variance analysis and investigation, as well as monthly forecasting and re-forecasting
- Posting standard journals, accruals and prepayments
- Preparing weekly and monthly MI reports to be distributed across the rest of the business
- VAT returns and intrastat reports
- Office and national statistics
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Supporting with the preparation of annual budget and forecasting
Profile
For this role, it is essential you have the following:
- Some experience working in a fast paced finance role
- Great attitude and hungry to learn and progress within finance
- AAT Qualified / CIMA or ACCA part qualified accountant
- Good communicator with strong attention to detail
- Good Excel skills - look ups, pivots ideally
