About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Project Finance this role exists to maintain a robust and effective Investment Portfolio Finance capability at AMP as well as ensuring accurate, complete and timely portfolio financials
In particular, responsibilities are going to be:
- Have real time holistic oversight of the investment portfolio financials through robust data capture processes and stakeholder relationships
- Produce portfolio financial reporting, including identified portfolio / project risks and opportunities, to be leveraged for reporting in various forum.
- Contribute to the strategic annual investment planning process, providing key financial inputs to ensure a complete and accurate plan
- Drive forecast quality uplift in conjunction with the Project Finance team to increase accuracy and reduce volatility
- Own the process of Balance Sheet attestations, communicating risks and recommendations
- Be a champion for organisational project capitalisation eg; drive consistency of application across projects, identify capitalisation opportunities for individual projects, periodical review of the policy and its application to maintain relevancy, and provide education for impacted stakeholders
- Streamline existing processes of data capture, ledger integrity and reporting with a focus on "one source of truth".
What we look for in you
- Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) / Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Ideally at least 5 years of Finance experience, ideally in financial services
- Proven experience streamlining processes
- Advance Excel, core financial systems, data analysis and BI systems
- Your project finance experience would be well regarded.
