The use of data analytics is a key focus of EY's Assurance practice and an integral part of the audit services we provide to our clients. The process to request, capture, transfer, transform and prepare client data for analysis is a foundational prerequisite to integrating analytics into the audit and is the central mission of our Data Delivery team.

The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for an excellent career opportunity as an APAC Assurance Data Delivery Operations Coordinator in a dynamic and growing team. The role will support the APAC Assurance Practice with digital transformation initiatives across all of Asia-Pacific. The role is based in Sydney, Australia.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Provide quality and timely support to the APAC Assurance Data Delivery operations lead.
  • Organize meetings with key business stakeholders across Asia-Pacific to ensure projects, reports and open issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Prepare agendas and minutes from numerous stakeholder meetings. Follow up matters arising at meetings on behalf of the APAC Assurance Data Delivery Lead and Senior Leadership.
  • Create high quality enablement, including user guides, operations documentation, and communications. Ensure they are updated as required.
  • Assist with reviewing enablement created by other team members prior to distribution.
  • Undertake research, analyse data, use critical thinking to summarize recommendations for reports and produce daily, weekly, and ad hoc reports as and when required.
  • Liaise with program Subject Matter Resources (SMRs) to prepare business and leadership communications.
  • Assist with reviewing program financials and working with the APAC PMO Lead to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with any ad hoc operational tasks as the program of work evolves.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider APAC Assurance Data Delivery Team, contributing to a positive team environment by and providing back up support for colleagues.

Education & Experience
  • Formal qualifications. Technology support work experience preferable but not essential.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience in an administrator/coordinator or project related role.
  • Experience in a professional services firm preferable but not essential. May be suitable for someone looking for a career change with strong transferable skills.
  • Relevant knowledge of data analysis and strong analytical skills and highly proficient with related software e.g. MS Suite, including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Outlook.
  • Previous experience working in a remote team preferable but not essential.
