Amazon India Selling Partner Experience team is looking for an experienced Business Analyst. If you relish diving deep into data, this opportunity will appeal to you. Working in a dynamic environment, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing and proposing data driven initiatives in key areas where Product and Program teams work together to enable next 1MM sellers to start their journey on Amazon and improve the experience for the sellers.
The successful candidate should have a passion for extracting actionable insights from data. She/he rolls up her/his sleeves, innovates, and quickly becomes a subject matter expert. She/he has significant experience extracting data, analyzing data, identifying trends, arriving at conclusions and presenting findings in a simple and clear manner. She/he enjoys problem solving and is proficient writing SQL queries, using Excel and other tools to analyze large data sets.
The Business Analyst is responsible for driving deep insights about Seller acquisition, their onboarding behavior and driving continuous insights for enabling Next 1MM Sellers using his/her analyses. The person should be quickly able to understand the business requirements & get to the root cause of a particular business issue, and draft solutions to meet requirements or resolve the root problems.

Basic Qualifications:
• 3+ years relevant experience in financial/business analysis
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
• Experience with SQL
• Experience in Excel

Preferred Qualifications:
• B.E /B.Tech or a bachelor's degree at a well-regarded institution in an analytical field (e.g. Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance.
• 4+ years relevant experience in financial/business analysis
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
• Experience with data mining tools SQL ,SAS, SPSS and proficiency in Excel
• Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with external customer interaction.
• Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business "by the numbers".
• Proven experience in identifying opportunities for business improvement, and defining and measuring the success of those initiatives.
• Experience of working in projects specific to customer lifecycle modelling, customer attrition management etc.
