Management Accountant

The client are a hospitality and catering company, based in the West End (Regent Street), that are looking for a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate MUST have multi-site accounting experience and ideally have previous experience working in a similar role within the restaurant industry.

The client are a very high-end restaurant that have 9 locations across London, and they are looking to expand into the rest of Europe. Many of the restaurants are located across the West End and the head office is based in Regent Street. The role reports directly into the UK Financial Controller and the successful candidate will have 1 direct report (Accounts Assistant).

Description

The successful Management Accountant will be:

• Full production of the monthly Management Accounts and management reports across 9 different sites
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Providing P&L Analysis with commentary to then present to the Finance Director and Financial Controller
• Line management of a junior Accounts Assistant
• Assisting the Financial Controller with the group reporting
• Weekly flash, sales and KPI reporting
• Cost of Sales analysis
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Business Partnering with the General Managers of the sites to produce site specific P&Ls

Profile

The successful Management Accountant:

• MUST have previous experience working as a multi-site Management Accountant for approximately 2-3 years
• Previous experience working for a hospitality (restaurants) company (desirable, not essential)
• Strong Excel skills (Summifs, Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOKUPS, Macros etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter
• Team player
• Part qualified (ACCA or CIMA or ACA)

Job Offer

• £35,000 - £45,000 (dependant on experience)
