about the job

Reporting to the Finance Controller, you will lead annual budgeting and forecasting, and prepare strategic plans for the region. Working closely with business stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and the senior management team, this is a high-visibility role which gives you the platform to make recommendations to support business decisions. You will influence several important decisions, for instance in improving profit margins, ROIs, and streamlining of processes to reduce costs and/or improve productivity. In addition, you will have control over your accounting books (eg. financial and management reporting), and be the point of contact for auditors and tax advisors.

skills and experience required

You should ideally possess a degree in accounting and CA, and with at least 6 years of financial analysis and controlling experience, preferably in retail or FMCG business. You possess strong interpersonal skills to influence change and drive improvement to finance processes for your counterparts in developing markets. You are hands on, comfortable to work in a flat and lean structure within a fast paced consumer industry. As the role involves engaging with America region, you are flexible with working across time zones.
