You will build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and keep them informed of the status of their account, whilst working closely with other support functions and our Centre's to resolve any queries that arise.

My client is a growing household brand based in Birmingham.

Description

Key responsibilities for the Accounts Payable role are:

  • Reconciliation of large accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Identifying queries on invoices and orders/returns outstanding.
  • Escalating and resolving queries as and when they arise.
  • Identifying items to be matched/processed for the invoice matching team.
  • Identifying and chasing credit notes for outstanding goods returns.
  • Liaising with suppliers both over the phone and in regular meetings.
  • Adhoc support of other accounts payable functions as required.

Profile

The most suitable Accounts Payable candidate will:

  • Have advanced Excel (Pivots, V-look Ups)
  • Have demonstrable experience of complex reconciliations (ideally 1000+ lines)
  • Be confident in dealing with critical suppliers

Job Offer

Upto £23,000 per annum
