Your field of responsibility
You will be responsible for preparation and delivery of Actual financial results for the month / quarter / year, Forecast for the current year (updated monthly), Financial Plan over a 5-year horizon (updated annually) and MI reporting, along with insightful analysis and commentaries to support the business partners
- Preparation and delivery of actual results, forecast, financial plan, materials for business governance meetings scenario analysis and ad-hoc reports as required by the business, with analytical commentaries and data presented in a significant manner to support business decisions
- Preparation and delivery of reports and analysis to Divisional CFO, Divisional Finance and Group Finance covering actuals, forecast and financial plan on monthly / quarterly basis as needed
- Implementation of controls over data sourcing, preparation of reports and documentation
- Managing the impact of business and organizational change on reporting processes and seek opportunities to increase efficiency
- Supervision and training of junior team members to enable them to handle BAU activities, ensuring effective delegation while remaining accountable for delivery
Your future colleagues
PB Finance is a CFO function closely aligned to the Private Banking business partners including the PB Co-Heads, PB COO and Product Heads. The department comprises of FP&A, Market Controlling and Product Controlling teams. The VP role is within the FP&A team that handles reporting at the APAC PB level. Marketing and Product teams deal with market and product level reporting respectively.
The team works in close partnership with the business by delivering insightful MI to support business reviews and decision making. The team also interacts regularly with APAC Divisional Finance, Group Finance and Legal Entity Finance.

Your skills and experience
This is a pivotal role within PB FP&A and requires in-depth experience in delivery of MI reporting to very senior partners and CFO teams.
- 10 to 12 years of financial accounting and/or reporting experience, with at least three years in the MI function, at a fast paced global organization, preferably in private banking
- CPA or bachelor degree in Finance / Accounting
- Ability to dissect and analyze data to identify underlying trends and present information in a manner that facilitates discussions with business leaders
- Can quickly assimilate data and turn around reports / analysis at short notice
- In-depth and hands-on experience working on presentations and spreadsheets
- Ability to deal with senior business partners
- Can manage workload and thrive under pressure
