The Central Provident Fund (CPF) is a social security savings scheme jointly supported by employees, employers and the Government. Its basic purpose is to help CPF members meet primary needs like shelter, food, clothing and health services in their old age or when they are no longer able to work. Benefits offered are to help meet one or more needs of the CPF Member in his retirement. They include withdrawals by the Member for retirement, permanent disablement, home ownership and health care. The amounts available depend on how much the Member has saved in the CPF.

The CPF Board are trustees for the CPF savings of Members. We aim to provide CPF Members, in a cost-effective manner, the widest range of quality services possible. We seek also to help employers pay CPF contributions promptly and correctly in as efficient and convenient a way as possible. Where we can, we make our assets and services available to help meet Singapore's social and economic objectives, thereby improving the quality of life of all Singaporeans and CPF Members.

Central Provident Fund Board is an Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) under the Singapore Chartered Accountant Qualification governed by the Singapore Accountancy Commission

Job Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a strategic partnership with departments to have in-depth understanding of the business and operations
• Oversee and lead to support the department's strategic objectives in matters relating to budgeting, monitoring, financial analysis and external costing
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise the resource allocation in order to drive better decision making on resources utilisation and allocation
• Manage and review of cost allocation to evaluate the efficiency of the different cost drivers
• Formulate and conduct continuous review of guidelines and procedures to ensure it is efficient and effective
• Use of technology and data analytics to aid management/departments in its decision-making processes
• Take on ad hoc project from time to time.

Required Attributes

• Professional Accountancy qualification accepted for membership by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA)
• At least 5 years' relevant working experience is preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as an effective team player
• Knowledge in SAP HANA, costing and budgeting are preferred
• Knowledge of robotic process automation and data analytic tools will be an added advantage
