Manchester Health and Care Commissioning is a single commissioner for health and social care, comprising a partnership between Manchester Clinical Commissioning Group and Manchester City Council.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the MHCC for an Associate Business Accountant working 37.5 hours per week on a 12 month fixed term contract. This vacancy is also welcoming of secondments.

We are seeking applications from individuals who have the drive, passion and ability to make a difference. You will be a fully qualified accountant/passed finalist/affiliate (ideally in a commissioning organisation). This role requires a strong knowledge of management accounts, budget setting, monitoring and forecasting. You will be numerate with strong communication and IT skills.

The post holder will be have a responsibility to deliver high-quality business management accounting work which involves the analysis of financial information, preparation of monthly reports and helping non-Finance colleagues to utilise financial and contract data for service redesign.

The CCG is committed to training and development of its Finance staff. The successful candidate will be given opportunities to participate in wider projects to develop their professional experience.
