One of the key pillars of the Global Investor Sales client strategy for Financial Institutions is to enhance the Client Experience. In doing so, we will create competitive advantage for our business and deliver significant value for our clients. A Client Experience project management team will be formed, and this role will be positioned on the project team. The focus will be on the client experience journey, including targeting elements of onboarding pre-trade, post-trade and working closely with our partners across ICG businesses and functions. We plan to establish Client Experience Commitments ("CEC's") supported by the appropriate staffing, process, and technology resourcing.

Responsibilities:

The Business Analyst will help to drive the completion of Business Analysis, Business Requirement Documentation, and Testing to support the successful coordination, implementation and delivery of client experience projects. The individual will be working with business, functional stakeholders and developers to gather requirements and facilitate implementation. Responsibilities will include creating functional and business requirements documents, assisting in UAT, and production rollouts, and ensuring the overall success of the project.
  • Provide input during development and implementation phases, including formulation and definition of systems scope, objectives and necessary system enhancements for complex, high-impact projects
  • Meet with decision-makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, systems, and operations requirements.
  • Ensure that all stakeholders are involved in pre studies and definition phases and that all tasks required implementing a solution are identified in the project plans submitted for approval
  • Develop and review Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
  • Facilitate meetings with the appropriate subject matter experts to receive specifics on requirements
  • Ensure that high-level business requirements have been decomposed properly into useable functional requirements
  • Perform analysis to determine and verify business requirements and functional design
  • Maintain issues lists, including minutes from meetings
  • Document functional specifications and SDLC required artifacts
  • Document operational flows / processes
  • Create test plans/ scripts including specific test cases and expected results
  • Create flow diagrams, structure charts, and other types of system or process representations
  • As appropriate, utilize design tools to create mock screens and prototypes
  • Assist Project Manager with the project plan
  • Assist in the organization and delivery of presentations
  • Utilize standard processes, design and testing tools throughout project development life cycle
  • Ensure deliverables are being met on a timely basis
  • Identify and communicate risks and impacts and propose risk mitigation options, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment

Education/Skills/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 6-10 years of practical experience in analysis, design and implementation on successfully implemented projects in the financial services industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) with extensive experience using Excel for data analysis
  • Experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
  • Candidate must be passionate about transformation, and ideally possess demonstrated track record in this expertise
  • Excellent strategic thinking and creative problem solving skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to operate independently and make decisions
  • Collaborative team player, with superior ability to build relationships and partner across a complex organization
  • Ability to influence stakeholders outside of span of control
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills, time management, follow-through, and project delivery
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, possess ability to simplify complexity
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Citi Markets and Citi infrastructure is a plus
