Responsibilities:
  • Process and design technical and business requirements
  • Parameterize Avaloq software, including business modules
  • Document the project into systems and processes for management review
  • Close interaction with clients through regular project updates and networking
  • Independently drive the success of a work stream by directing activities, ensuring high quality deliverables and timely submission
  • Manage a team of consultants by defining meaningful work packages, managing activities, and through mentorship
  • Conduct interviews and workshops with clients to translate their requirements into well formulated solutions
  • Close interaction with clients through regular project updates and networking
  • Participate in business development activities including topic development, proposal preparation, sales presentations, and contract negotiation

Requirements:
  • Degree Holder
  • 6-8 years of experience in the private banking industry
  • 6-8 years of experience in Avaloq implementation, including parameterization, and possess a good understanding of processes and products in at least one work stream/module (Stock Exchange, Monetary Transactions, Cash management or OTC Derivatives)
  • Product knowledge on Equity and FX derivatives and transactions (e.g. Options, Swaps, ACDCs)
  • Practical knowledge of programming languages, and knowledge in database systems and SDLC
  • Good understanding of core business processes and products in the private banking industry
  • Domain experience covering these areas: Regulatory and compliance, digital banking, operational excellence, software systems (e.g. Avaloq, Marginman, Numerix, Assentis)
  • Understanding of the Avaloq banking suite both functionally and technically
  • Direct hands-on experience working with Avaloq banking products
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Highly analytical and structured in problem solving; able to quickly understand complex situations
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with clients and colleagues
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and team leadership skills
  • Capable of applying technology principles to business

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience within management consulting, banks or technology firms
  • Past experience at a financial organization which uses Avaloq products
  • Experience on an end-to-end Avaloq implementation project will be a plus
