Be part of the Victorian Building Authority and contribute to ensuring the safety of all Victorians. We have 1 x permanent vacancy for a proactive and experienced senior building auditor to lead a team of up to 4/5 auditors and maintain the integrity of the building system and building practitioners.

We have 1 x permanent opportunity available for a senior building auditor to join us.

In this role, you will lead a team of up to 4/5 auditors, design and deliver complex audit programs, measuring and monitoring the quality and compliance of building practitioner work in Victoria, assessing and identifying risks and making recommendations for continuous improvement and providing expert technical advice to stakeholders.
Who we are looking for
  • Proactive leaders with extensive experience in the design and delivery of audit programs
  • Extensive knowledge of building industry regulatory framework, regulations and standards
  • Well-developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of people, prepare detailed and accurate reports, advice and recommendations
  • Tertiary qualifications in building surveying are required
  • Current registration as building surveyor in an Australian jurisdiction would be highly regarded
