Leave 22 days pro rata (+3 designated days Christmas week)

Finance Department
The Finance and Treasury Team is led by the Director of Finance and Treasury and is split in to six sections

Role Overview:
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the role will be responsible for management accounting and assisting the finance department during the implementation of a new Finance Management System.

Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for the production of the monthly management accounts and month end process
- Support regulatory and compliance reporting as required
- Prepare and post month end adjustments
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Support data cleanse of General Ledger and Accounts Receivable modules for migration to new Finance Management System
- Support Accounts Receivable team in the weekly rent run and daily cash allocation postings
- Support Accounts Receivable team with resident rent queries in a prompt and efficient manner, which will involve liaising with the Contact Centre and Housing Services Teams
- Post all rent transactions to the accounting software
- Complete periodic bank reconciliations
- Assist with other ad-hoc duties and financial projects as required
- Provide cover for other finance staff during holiday and other busy periods
Other
- Assist Finance Managers and Head of Finance with any financial or ad hoc projects as required
- Collaborate with the Finance Operations Supervisor with any additional reporting requirements that are needed
- Provide support to other members of the Finance Team and foster an environment of knowledge sharing

Education / Qualifications
- Degree level
- Qualified accountant
Knowledge / Skills
- Proficient I.T. skills at a high level including excel

- Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, report writing, presentation
- Strong analytical & statistical skills
Experience
- 5 years’ experience working in a busy finance environment
- Minimum of 1 year Post Qualified Experience
- Experience of working in a property orientated environment or similar SME
- Experience of working in a team environment
- Experience of working with senior management
