Credit Controller

Superb opportunity to join this thriving Community Services organisation based in Coventry as a Credit Controller. The role will involve the full remit of cash collection, dispute/query resolution, sales ledger, reconciliations and credit risk/credit management across a range of customer accounts.

Description

The Credit Controller position in Coventry will involve:

• Ownership of a number of customer accounts being fully responsible for all elements of credit management
• Awareness of credit risk factors monitoring payment history and credit worthiness/credit score and providing updates and recommendations to Credit Manager
• Extensive communication and negotiation with customers understanding needs and enforcing credit terms when required
• Liaison with sales representatives to gain support and further understanding with key clients
• Negotiate repayments and ensure payments are monitored for compliance
• Support in the management of customer accounts and report any escalations to Management immediately
• Complete cash allocations and bank reconciliations when required
• Review and conduct credit checks on customers when necessary to determine relevant credit terms

Profile

To be successful in this Credit Controller vacancy you will need prior exposure to a full credit management role, be a strong communicator and negotiator and have strong IT skills including Excel. Being able to work diligently in a high volume environment is paramount with an ability to manage a diverse range of tasks.
