Summary:

Our Risk Management Operations team member supports multiple compliance administration functions including research, reporting, mailbox management, etc., within our US Risk Management function. The role requires a deep understanding of our Risk Management policies in order to identify policy and regulatory non-compliance.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Applies knowledge and understanding of the firm’s processes, resources and tools to effectively support functional teams and customers
  • Provide administrative support for US Risk Management functional teams, including mailbox management, evaluates requests, provides guidance related to compliance, policy, processes, reporting, etc., and level one customer support as needed
  • Performs internal and external research, referencing existing policies and knowledge to assist with review, assessment and resolution of incidents and provides recommendation to meet compliance, including customer inquiry
  • Demonstrates positive attitude by contributing energy and new ides to team efforts and meetings, including   process improvements for continued execution against strategic priorities, enhance efficiency and identify trends
  • Asks clarifying questions to fully understand customer, peer and leadership expectations, to effectively support the business
  • Escalates and partner with Coordinator to resolve concerns outlining action taken and proposed solution, as applicable
  • Reconciles information obtained from research and communicates findings, parameters and propose next steps to leadership
  • Contributes prepares and run reports
  • Propose process documentation updates to Risk Management Support Services Coordinator, including knowledge database
  • Produces work of high quality that is timely, accurate, complete and clear
  • Conducts subject-specific research within related internal and external resources and review research to provide appropriate next steps
  • Ability to identify and communicate opportunities within existing processes   
  • Identify work challenges (e.g. prioritization), develop a solution, if needed, and escalate to leadership

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), and collaboration skills, interface with personnel at all levels directly or in a virtual setting, communicate with appropriate frequency
  • Highly skilled attention to detail and self-assurance of quality of work performed or reviewed
  • Skilled user and knowledge resource Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
  • Proactively shares knowledge and suggestions with colleagues to enhance their professional development
  • Anticipate and proactively respond and assist colleagues with adjusting to change
  • Effectively manage conflicting priorities, organize workflow, and team with colleagues to accomplish tasks and balance workloads
  • Develop and demonstrate solid working knowledge of firm structure, service lines, key personnel and organizational policies and procedures
  • Research skills using internal and external data sources
  • Ability to apply protocols and structured procedures independently
  • Professional maturity and ability to manage confidentiality
  • Strong multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills
  • Independent decision-making skills based on established guidelines to respond to or process escalated matters or sensitive transaction.
  • Require the breadth, depth of knowledge and experience to appropriately determine when to escalate issues that require additional review in order to obtain the correct answer or solution
  • Adapts to change and analyses all available data for continuous improvement; experiments with solutions; sees the unfamiliar as a challenge
  • Dedicated to meeting customer requirements and expectations; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers, gaining trust and respect
  • Teamwork and Relationships; develops positive relationships with peers, supervisors, customers, while displaying empathy and curiosity
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of research tools/functions and service delivery

  • The Salary Range for this position in Denver Salary Range is $37,500 - $59,900
  • The Salary Range for this position in Hartford Salary Range is $37,500 - $59,900
  • The Salary Range for this position in Stamford Salary Range is 45,000 - $71,800
  • The Salary Range for this position in Las Vegas Salary Range is $37,500 - $59,900
