Joining the TUI Airline Finance Team as a Senior Finance Analyst, you will provide financial and commercial business partnering support to the Operations, SM&P and Aviation Planning teams. You will immerse yourselves in the day-to-day operations of the areas of the business you support and will do so whilst providing the ‘service with a smile’ that TUI Airline Finance wish to be famous for.

At TUI we believe that work is something you do not somewhere you go, therefore we are pleased to advise we can consider a hybrid working model for this role with an average of 2 days per month being office based. In terms of office location, that could be Luton, Zaventem, Rijswijk, Hannover or Stockholm but there may be occasional requirement for you to travel to Luton.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Providing finance support in respect of a combined cost base of c€0.3bn
  • Business partnering the Airline Operations and Aviation Planning teams   
  • To support the planning, budgeting, and forecasting requirements for the business areas you’re responsible for
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities within remit
  • Produce detailed, insightful monthly reporting packs for presentation to senior management
  • Support seasonal pricing rounds and subsequent reporting
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to drive the realisation of commercial opportunities
  • Work with the business and purchasing teams on contract negotiations
  • Work closely with the Airline Accounting team regarding the P&L, balance sheet and cash impacts of forecast changes
  • Work closely with the MI team to fully utilise the improved provision of MI from all applicable systems
  • Drive improvement of processes/controls within area

ABOUT YOU

  • An enthusiastic accountant, holding a recognised UK professional qualification or a domicile country equivalent, with experience of supporting/partnering commercial teams
  • Proactive team player who is confident in their own ability and, demonstrates good interpersonal skills
  • Good commercial judgement and ability to influence
  • Strong analytical skills including identifying and explaining key drivers and underlying trends
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to storytell
  • Strong excel skills
  • Organised, capable of multi-tasking and delivering to tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Can demonstrate experience in process improvement
