The aim of this role is to support the EMEIA Compensation and Benefits Services team.

Ability to quickly develop strong working relationships with business partners DescriptionThe Compensation Service Lead role will serve as a key point of contact for compensation services activities for EMEA. The successful candidate needs to be a person of high integrity and sound judgment, who can work independently with the ability to call out and handle ad-hoc issues relating to our role. Co-ordinate Payroll, Benefits and Leave Administration tasks for DACH and the Nordic region. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, while ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely & accurate manner. Ensure employee queries are responded to quickly, completely and accurately. Champion the importance of an excellent employee experience as your number one priority. Implement and maintain controls over all documentation and processes, both internal and legislative/external. Focus on reporting and reconciliation of pay and benefit/leave data to ensure payroll is correct. Analyse complex business challenges, identify potential solutions and related impacts, and recommend comprehensive, cross functional solutions. Focus daily on increased efficiencies and scalability through process improvements and automation. Partner with our external Payroll & Benefits Vendors, Store Managers, People Support, Compliance, Payroll accounting, and Systems teams to ensure all issues are addressed and resolutions put in place promptly. Ensure all of the appropriate returns are filed with local government bodies accurately and within SLA. Act as Compensation Services consultant to Business Partners and employees on payroll legislation, implementation & administering processes including payroll, benefits & leave. Conduct regular employee training on Payroll and Benefits Administration programs and systems where required. Deputise for your senior leadership occasionally.
Education & ExperienceBusiness Degree/MA or proven experience in Payroll and/or Benefits. Accountancy qualification and/or IPASS certification. Fluent in English, additional fluent language capabilities are an advantage.
