Description
- Responsible for end-to-end accounting activities including accounts payable, fixed assets and other accounting areas in both US GAAP and local GAAP
- Be recognized as a local expert in areas of accounting
- Act as a main contact for indirect material purchase systems such as Concur, Ariba and others
- Support period-end closing activities including journal entries, account reconciliation, management reporting, supplemental monthly reporting schedules and balance sheet/income statement variance analysis
- Ensure the period-end closing are completed in good quality and in time
- Support internal and external audit requests; perform SOX testing requests timely and accurately
- Comply with internal controls as well as update process documentation when needed
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls for assigned areas
- Support local tax filing completion and compliance, including VAT and withholding tax
- Liaise with FP&A team to meet management accounting/analytical requirements
- Provide support to Accounting Manager and work on other ad-hoc projects as needed
Profile
- 5+ years working experience with multinational company experience is a must
- Highly experienced and expert knowledge in SAP FI/CO and Excel is a must
- Strong accounting knowledge and excellent understanding of accounting principles, including US GAAP and Taiwan GAAP
- Strong proficiency in English is a must, fluent English preferred
- Strong attention to detail with good time management skills
- Able to work under pressure and to adhere to deadlines
