Identify General ledger process improvement opportunities, from both efficiency and effectiveness perspective, and deliver relevant solutions. To ensure the documentation of the processes is always available and up-to-date.
 

  • Maintain knowledge of related regulatory frameworks and policies
  • Internal and external bench-marking of process
  • Drive digitalization and use of smart tools together with the finance development and Global Process Owners
  • Act as project manager in selected projects
  • Consulting and supporting operational teams in resolving complicated, repeating (process) issues related to systems, processes, policies
  • Drive automation in GBS processes, identify opportunities, deployment of use cases
  • Coach and facilitate other teams to identify improvement opportunities, and create a “continuous improvement” mind set in the organization
  • Act as Key user for finance system(s) within own process area
  • Focus on developing and testing new functionalities of the systems
  • Define and develop performance measurement (KPIs) for specific processes, secure connection with the other processes and follow up on performance
  • Ensure the process documentation is in place and up to date
  • Train or support the training of new team members
  • Monitor and ensure Global process compliance by engaging with internal stakeholders and service providers
  • Executes all other position related tasks delegated by direct manager

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Higher education in Economics/Mathematics/Finance or Accounting field
  • Deep GL process understanding is required, knowledge of AP/AR processes is an advantage
  • Process expertise, process analysis skills
  • Excellent understanding of Close to Report activities
  • Fluent written and oral English. Other relevant language would be advantage
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint); SAP, Basware and Concur experience preferred
  • Project management skills
