Page Personnel Finance are recruiting for an Fleet Accountant for our client, a leading Shipping company located in London's West End.
Client Details
Our client is a leading Shipping company located in London's West End, a short walk from Oxford Circus tube station. Due to a restructure in their accountancy team an opportunity has arisen for a Fleet Accountant to join our business.
Description
Located in London's West End, our client is looking for an Fleet Accountant with responsibility for the following duties:
*Maintaining accounting records for a number of UK and German companies, including the following:
*Raising sales invoices;
*Processing cash transactions;
*Weekly bank reconciliations;
*Setting up payments and payment runs;
*Month end journals including prepayments, accruals, depreciation etc.
*Reconciling KPIs to the voyage management system each week and investigating differences;
*Preparing weekly summary of outstanding debts and liaising with the commercial and operations team to chase;
*Producing timely and accurate monthly management accounts pack for all the entities that he/she is responsible for;
*Preparing the sub-group consolidation and management accounts for the German sub group;
*Working closely with the German team (Financial Reporting Manager & Commercial Manager) for reporting purposes.
Profile
The ideal candidate will have worked as a Fleet Accountant previously, with experience of preparing management accounts. Prior experience in the Shipping industry would be advantageous.
Job Offer
